THE ROAD CONNECTION BAND

THE ROAD CONNECTION

Everyone knows by now that I write about people that I admire and people who inspires me.   I guess by now it's also well documented that I also have a special love and  interest in Indie & Unsigned bands & artists.  My taste varies, but when it comes to good rock & roll music there's no doubt about where my heart is.
MY LATEST ARTICLE SHINES THE SPOTLIGHT ON A VERY TALENTED BAND FROM ROME ITALY, they go by the name of THE ROAD CONNECTION.

I became acquainted with this band back in Dec. 2011 when they joined my Music & Films Network, so we were no strangers to each other.  In late September 2012 I came into direct contact with the band's lead singer Lorenzo Cortoni through mail and otherwise and our passion for music was quite mutual.

Lorenzo sent me some of his band's best songs and right away I was in love with their style of music.  A few nights ago I spent many hours playing music by this band.  I loved everything and I found myself rocking out to the song "Voo Doo Queen".  I must admit the vocals of Lorenzo Cortoni is among  some of the very best in rock & roll music.  I found myself playing each song over and over, getting a different feeling from each of them. There was no denying it.... They All Rock!!

"Say Goodbye",  "The Road",  "Rainy Night",  "The Hard Place", and  "Silent Scream"  are great songs and I was highly impressed with the vocals and performance of this band.  I played the song "Say Goodbye"  many many times because I really felt the soul of Lorenzo Cortoni in that song.  His voice is perfect and reminded me of early Springsteen,  Bob Seger, Jon Bon Jovi, John Mellencamp,  to name a few.  I felt a real emotional connection to the music and loved each song so much.

OKAY NOW THE QUESTION??? WHY WOULD I RECOMMEND THE MUSIC OF THE ROAD CONNECTION???
 ,
1.  GREAT MUSIC
2.  GREAT VOCALS
3.  GREAT BAND
4.  AND THE BEST OF ROCK, SOUL & BLUES ALL IN ONE
IS THAT ENOUGH???

The Road Connection is hard at work on their new CD and I for one cannot wait till it hits the market because I've come to love and appreciate this band for their creative talents.  I promise to keep you posted on the new music and any new updates from this band.  For now please stop by online & check out their latest project.  Listed below are places to listen to, download and purchase their music.

Thanks guys for giving me the opportunity  to share your story around the globe.   My wish for you is that you reach millions of people with your awesome music!

                                            BIOGRAPHY

The road of the rock goes through Rome with the sound of "The Road Connection":
American name, but head and heart "made in Italy".

The band is led by Lorenzo Cortoni (vocals), and is composed of:

Francesca Cinanni (backing vocals), Paul Ligori and Emiliano Caivano (guitars), Antonio Oliva (drums), Francesco Rametta (bass).

The training was created by the successful merger of a group of artists on the long-running musical Roman scene, former protagonists of other groups in the capital (Johnny & the Gozzillas, Blues Preachers, Loudtalkers, Out) and have impressive credentials, having behind a series of collaborations with musicians of rank.

The repertoire of "The Road Connection" is made by original songs (all composed by Lorenzo Cortoni) and rock covers.

From the roughness of the classic rock to the ballads that echo the sounds of the "west coast" American, the band offers a powerful sound inspired by the noble roots of rock, soul and blues.
